Battle Arena
BlockWorldPVP is a fast-paced, first person battle game where players battle to the death in order to win each round. Each BlockWorld arena has a unique, low-poly feel where competing players can maneuver throughout the map, hide behind obstacles, and utilize the environment to give themselves advantages in each fight.
Before entering a match, each player has the option to choose which BlockHead they want to battle with inside the battle arena. Each BlockHead will have different benefits & perks depending on their initial traits and acquire weapons.
Players will compete one on one in a competitive duel in a battle to see who’s the more skilled player. The first player to win three out of five rounds wins the match, and ranks up the BlockWorld Leaderboard.
Ranks and Leaderboards
In every BlockWorld match, players will have the opportunity to rank up within the BlockWorld leaderboards. Players earn or lose Block Points (BP) in every competitive match they play. On average, players will either gain or lose 25-35 BP per game (depending on opposing players rank, performance, true rank, etc.)
World 1 - 0 - 1,249 BP World 2 - 1,250 - 1,999 BP World 3 - 2,000 - 2,499 BP World 4 - 2,500 - 2,999 BP World 5 - 3,000 - 3,499 BP World 6 - 3,500 - 3,999 BP BlockWorld - 4,000+ BP
Players compete for the highest amount of BP to reach the top 1,000 players in the BlockWorld leaderboards. The BlockWorld leaderboard operates in seasons, each season lasting 3 months. Every BlockWorld season, the ranks & leaderboards will reset allowing players to battle it out again for the new top spots.
Every season, new BlockHead NFTs will be released into the BlockWorld ecosystem allowing new players to join in the fun, and bring more competition to the playing field. At the end of each season, the players who finish on the top 1,000 leaderboard will receive bonus rewards in the form of $BBUX.
With the rise in BlockWorldPVP’s popularity, we plan to launch an e-sports league for the world’s best players to battle it out on the main stage. More information will be provided here as the community and game ecosystem continues to evolve.
Weapons
Within the BlockWorld ecosystem, there are countless types of weapons that are able to be unlocked while playing the game. Each BlockHead NFT by default comes with a starter weapon that can be used straight away.
Starter Weapons Include: Sword Axe Bow Shield Staff Spear Mace War Hammer
Players are able to unlock new weapons by playing competitive matches and upgrading their BlockHeads.
Scholarship
Allow other players to rank up your blockheads
Does not affect your rank
Once rented out, it will affect the other player’s rank for the remainder of the season when used in-game
Scholarship ends at the end of each season.
Players are able to lend out their BlockHead NFTs to other players in the form of scholarships. A BlockWorld scholarship is defined as when one BlockHead holder decides to lend out one or more of their BlockHeads to another player for the remainder of any given season. This benefits the original holder because they are able to earn $BBUX rewards passively, while the other player is able to earn rewards without having to make an initial investment of a BlockHead NFT.
When a scholarship is initiated, the BlockHead will be lent from the original player to the new player for the rest of the season it was given. At the end of the season, the BlockHead will be returned back to the original player, and they will have the option whether or not they want to keep it or initiate another scholarship.
Once a scholarship has been activated, the new player will now be able to earn $BBUX, rank up in the leaderboards, and complete any tasks a normal holder would be able to do for the remainder of the season they have it. The rank earned by the scholar will NOT affect the original holder’s rank, and will only benefit the original holder via $BBUX rewards. Earnings are split 50/50 between the original holder and the scholar.
Game Development
BlockWorldPVP’s beta release will be web-based, allowing players to play around the world regardless of device. Long term, BlockWorld will be cross-platform and available to download directly on PC, Xbox, PlayStation and on mobile.
